Winter Messenger
Even in the gloom of winter, a cardinal will always brighten the day! He's the centerpiece of this little design and it is easy to imagine him as the messenger. The background here is highlighted with two bands of specialty stitches.
Shown stitched on silk gauze, you might work this on a white fabric, omitting the background fill.
