The symbol for Grape Pie should be a solid circle, and the symbol for Jolly Holly should be a solid square.

The color variation in the backgrounds come from using hand-dyed flosses and letting the colors appear as you work the basket weave stitch diagonally across the background space of the silk gauze - very pretty! Or choose a fabric you love and stitch away!
