LINEN BERRY: The back and/or straight stitches for the little chick to the right of the central egg are worked in DMC 3825.
Also, the egg to the left side with the horizontal bands can also be worked in a yellow/white checkerboard pattern vs. yellow/white stripes - your choice!

Easter Babies Berries
This cute little chick is freshly hatched, and joined by some chocolate bunnies and a number of colorful un-hatched eggs to celebrate spring. The linen berry is stitched in a more muted color scheme which is easily brightened up as you like; it’s topped with a pretty wool flower.
The silk berry is bright and cheerful and full of personality! For those of you who like to stitch these silk berries over one on linens and evenweaves, I’ve included a bonus chart for that little chick bursting out of its colorful egg on an opalescent white linen - notice the difference in size and scale? The model shown is worked one-over-one on 28 count linen.
Easter Babies Berry is sold as a “partner” chartpak, a format which includes instructions and charts for linen and silk berries.
