Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.

Marcel Proust’s verse inspires this colorful welcome to springtime and a nod to those who make our lives special. The verse is complimented by floral motifs from 19th century pattern books, and I just couldn’t resist stitching that exuberant bouquet on silk gauze, showing that portion as an alternate to the larger sampler. A pretty berry is also included, shown on still another fabric, illustrating the multiple options available - so choose your favorite!
