If you are planning some décor for an upcoming wedding, here’s a pair of beautiful doves to appliqué to a variety of items. Our "Heart" model is shown on a small mini-album for photos that we’ve covered in a coordinating scrapbook paper. It’s easy to coordinate the color scheme in this design to work with your theme, and transfers for the individual doves are also included!

We've mounted our single doves onto a pretty satin-covered guest book with a bit of ribbon to "tie the knot" – but start thinking about what else you can put these on…flower baskets, ring pillows, favors, etc... The chartpak also includes several of the size 8° beads used for their eyes – so you make more than one pair for the honored couple!

I used 1 and 3-strand punchneedles and a combination of floss, perle cotton and overdyed floss. The heart design is about 4.5" x 4.5" and the individual doves are approximately 3."
