Toil & Trouble
An assortment of whimsical critters are scattered throughout the rising vapors of this steaming caldron! Very fun colors and details for any Halloween fan - inspiration is that famous scene from William Shakespeare's Macbeth.
Our model is stitched on 32ct hand dyed “Copper Penny” linen from Wichelt Imports; finished size is about 6''wide x 10.5'' high. We've used Weeks Dye Works floss throughout and a smattering of brightly colored Mill Hill petite beads for the eyes on many of those little creatures. A few special stitches (Smyrna crosses and woven spider web roses) are included for added texture and dimension.
Chartpak includes a large chart and additional pages detailing the backstitching, straight stitching, and bead placement for all of those critters.
