How many of you remember the second verse of the traditional Thanksgiving hymn "Come, Ye Thankful People Come?" Well – that was the inspiration for this design!

This is a simple classic piece worked on "exampler" linen from Lakeside Linens -– but any lovely warm color will do nicely. I used colors from Gentle Art and the large ear of corn is worked in beads from Mill Hill for great texture! A few simple specialty stitches anchor the bottom of the design.

The small ornament model is stitched over 1 thread of 25ct pearl linen and is really charming!
