Shepherd's Stocking
 A special stocking remembering that special night long ago – stitch this on 18ct linen in a variety of wool blend fibers from Rainbow Gallery and pretty perle cottons (DMC alternatives are provided for you). The textures of the fibers add a lot, particularly for the sheep – which are worked in French or Colonial knots for that "wooly" texture. Personalize this one and add the ceramic stars from Mill Hill – it will look lovely on someone’s mantle! Finishes to a generous 15" long and 9" wide at the bottom.
Instructions for the little "shepherd" ornament are also included – it’s worked on 28ct linen with overdyed flosses and you add the little clay star in the sky.
