These images of the season are so much fun to do – the colors show a wonderful richness when worked in the punchneedle! The “Scary Boo! Cat” is worked almost entirely in size 8 DMC perle cotton – so there is less re-threading of your punchneedle! The solid colors are rich and textured – we’ve mounted this 4” x 6” piece onto a tin can that’s been painted black and embellished a bit for a trick-or-treat bucket that will make anyone smile!

The “Gourd Basket Topper” fits nicely onto this little basket (by Olde Colonial Designs and available from your needlework shop). The oval finishes just a bit over 3” in length and uses some of those favorite seasonal colors we all love. When you’re finished, it will hold lots of little treasures – including preemie-size scissors or your little needle cases!

The colors in “Leaf 4-Square” will just take your breath away! Most of my punchneedle designs that are worked in overdyed colors can also use DMC floss – but this one would be really hard to match any way but with the overdyes! If you are familiar with the Weeks and Gentle Art color range - think Amber, Lancaster Red, Mulberry, Rum Raisin, Tiger’s Eye, Sarsaparilla, etc. Plus, each of the individual 2” squares can be punched separately into a piece that is a perfect size for a wearable pin.

A multi-use iron-on transfer is included to stamp the punchneedle design on your fabric.
