If you have never stitched on silk gauze you really are in for a treat. Don't be intimidated - the stitching is much easier than you might think. The real key is your lighting and magnification. Once you get that right for your particular situation the rest is easy - and you have jewel-like treasures to show for it!

I work with my gauze stitched onto a piece of scrap fabric then mounted in a hoop. Instructions are included with your chartpak.

This is still a typical counted cross stitch chart - nothing different;

You actually make fewer stitches because you stitch half stitches - in this case the continental stitch;

Stitch all of the motifs, letters and details first, then stitch the background which requires no constant checking of your chart - just fill in and watch the design pop!
