My 1st Christmas

Something special for the newest member of your family, I’ve shown two examples for this design – one in brighter, more contemporary colors, and the other in lovely darker and more muted tones.

This chartpak includes an alphabet and the numerals for personalizing your ornament – and of course, complete finishing instructions and templates to complete yours for that special little one. Just one cut of gauze is included so if you are doing more than one ornament, check with your needlework retailer about getting additional silk gauze.

I used felted wool for both the stocking and the star ornament – easy finishing, I promise! The only thing that is a bit challenging is the small size of the cuff and stocking; it reminded me a bit of sewing tiny little doll clothes many years ago.
