Here’s something all for fun – or the flamingo fan in you! The bright tropical colors from Weeks and Gentle Art just jump out at you – and it’s a quick stitch on 10ct Betsy Ross linen, finishing at a cool 4"w x 6" high. I added a few bright round clay “konfetti” buttons for some extra punch!


My favorite is this flamingo in punchneedle! The background design is first cross stitched on the white 28ct linen, then I transferred the outline of the flamingo to the wrong side of my stitching and used a 1-strand Igolochkoy^TM punchneedle to create the flamingo.


The texture and dimension of the punchneedle technique is really wonderful! I finished this one into a little standup figure – only about 4 ½" tall! So cute!!
