I remember singing "The Friendly Beasts" when I was quite small and I still love the imagery of all the animals giving their own small gifts to the infant Jesus.

Our model uses 36ct Summer Khaki Edinburgh linen from Zweigart but the design will also be nice on a variety of other counts and colors.

We used Crescent Colours floss throughout with some alternating scotch stitches in the roof area and the verse in the lower portion of the piece is stitched over one thread of linen.
