A simple sentiment in beautiful rich tones of green and plum – this is a very “proper” looking house that is accented with clay buttons from Just Another Button Co. It’s stitched on 28ct linen (but you can choose your favorite fabric) with both Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works overdyed flosses.

I’ve included a few specialty stitches for texture, but you can substitute cross stitches if you prefer. It’s a “skinny” design that would also fit on a length of pretty stitch banding. Also – our model is finished into a banner that is hanging on a lovely wooden knitting needle!]
