This design says a lot in a very understated way. The model was punched using 1 and 3-strand punchneedles (but it can be worked totally in one or the other if you prefer), and can be framed as we did, but also mounted on a book cover, box or any number of other items. We cross stitched the background on 32ct Lambswool linen working over just 1 thread. If you prefer not to stitch the background, go to your computer and print the verse on some specialty paper compatible with your punched piece. Customize it even further, and have a calligrapher letter the verse for you! This chartpak includes an iron-on transfer that you can use multiple times, and the chart for the cross stitch background design. |
