Simple and classic to blend with any Americana décor, this punchneedle design uses 1 and 3-strand punchneedles, and is punched on your khaki weaver's cloth with a combination of perle cotton and over dyed floss. Areas of the border are left unpunched to show the color of weaver's cloth as part of the design and this extends to the entire background area. Using the iron-on transfer, you can choose your own background color from the growing number of dyed weaver's cloth colors available. The design finishes to about 7˝" long, so you will need a larger hoop - I used one 10" in diameter. It's embellished with 4 tiny brass stars, included in your chartpak. This chartpak includes an iron-on transfer that you can use multiple times, and the chart for the cross stitch background design. |
